Why  Gilda’s Club? 

I don’t know anyone who’s life has not been affected by cancer. Both my parents died from cancer and I have many survivors in my immediate circle of friends.  People with cancer and their families often times fell isolated,  confused and frightened and Gilda’s Club across the country is a place where you can find the resources that you need to move forward and get well.  All programs are offered free of charge.

Join me and my new all-Female Jazz Ensemble MsDemeanor in support of NOWSA (The National Organization for Women's Safety Awareness) The NOWSA's goal is simple - To help prevent crime and violence against women of all ages and from all walks of life.

The include dramatic and inspiring readings of actual victim's stories presented by the Hofstra Dram Dept, commentary by Karen O'Callaghan, Hofstra University's new Director of Public Safety, surprise celebrity guest appearances, refreshments and much More! 100% of the donation proceeds from this exciting event will go directly to NOWSA.

The honorees will be recognized during the game.
